Seven Secrets

I've been tagged by Wischer Studio to share 7 secrets, so hereeeeee we go:

1. At 29 years old, I've never been to the "lady" doctor. :/ I know, I know. I'm going soon and I'm freaking out.

2. I think about leaving everything behind, running away, and starting a new life somewhere.

3. I spit in someone's contact lens case one time when they pissed me off. (BAD Melly, BAD!) Never told them...still won't tell them. Yes I can be evil and yes their lenses were in there and I know it was wrong but sometimes revenge just feels GREAT!

4. None of my coworkers know that customize dolls or that I'm into Blythe or that I blog or anything like that & I LOVE that! It feels like having a big secret that they could stumble upon at anytime. It's kind of exhilarating for me some reason. If/when they do know, I won't care...it's just fun to have a secret I think!

5.  I am becoming even more of a loner these days and it doesn't bother me anymore :/

6. I spend more on my dolls (& customizing supplies) than I do on myself :/ I've been in the hobby for a year and I've probably spent over $1500 or more :O

7. I l ike dogs more than people. I know it might be weird but I definitely think I will be the little old lady who lives alone with 20 dogs haha. They're just so much easier to deal with!

One great thing about my house is that it is just minutes away from the Memphis Botanic Garden and they're having one of their summer concerts right now. Diana freaking Ross is playing right now and I can hear her clear as day from my backyard for free. It's quite magical and sooo fun!!! :D

Not A Very Musical Monday...

I've been ill, sue me ;) I haven't had time to search around for any new music :P I have totally missed blogging! Ever since Spring started I've battled and on again off again sinus/allergy issues and the last few weeks have been hell. So sorry for the lack of posts but I just didn't feel up to it. But now I am feeling better and a lot less mucousy so I am going to try and get back on track with blogging this week! Great Baby Shower Gift Idea!

I totally forgot to share this with you guys (bad Melly, bad!). I made this for my friend's baby shower a few weeks ago. It's a three tier diaper cake :D I saw this online a long time ago and never had a need to make one until now. I took newborn baby diapers and rolled them up and tied them...I had to do about 50, WHEW! Then I made three levels and tied each together and taped the levels together. Then I stuffed little wash cloths, baby lotion, and baby bath soap that were on her registry. I got her some burp towels and a few other things and I made her brownies with white chocolate chips, mmmm. The little rubber ducky is the cutest thing! It tells you if the water is too hot for baby...how cool is that!? The letters H-O-T are on the bottom and if it's too hot they turn white. Love that ;)

He's Late! He's Late!

Did you go see Alice in Wonderland this weekend?? Let me know what you thought about it and what movie food you scarfed lol! (I looooove movie food!!)
