and perhaps the biggest surprise was this:

a yummy cake from the super awesome Kat of Muddy's Bake Shop! Her sweet guy Thomas (of Eat Local Memphis) was dropping their adorable doggie off at the daycare I work at and he had this cake for me. I was SO surprised and happy! This was hands down one of the best cakes I've EVER tasted (peach breakfast cake with vanilla glaze  *___~ O-M-G GOOD!) Thanks you guys for such a special treat!! I love Muddy's 4 everrrrr ;) Even if it keeps expanding my waistline :P

I got some awesome gifts but more importantly, my friends and loved ones made me feel really special and I appreciate that.Thank you guys again! (and Amy, we still have some celebratin' to do sister :P) 

Have an amazing weekend everyone! I've got a 3 day weekend and I'm going to clean, work on Blythe commissions, & try and relax somewhere in there ;)

This isn't a bday gift but I wanted to post about it anyway because I'm SO happy! I did a lot of dog sitting this summer and I was able to buy a new kick ass laptop with the money I made. (If you don't remember my laptop died a while ago and we've been using a super old school computer from my boy's job that his boss let him borrow.) The boy's dad found us an amazing deal on a Toshiba Satellie L505 and it rocks!!! I am so grateful!

1. If you could have a tea party and invite 4 people, who would you invite and why?

Twinkie Chan - because I just love everything about her :)


Kid Cudi - because I have a feeling he'd keep things entertaining & I want to sing with him :D


My friend Amy - because she'd bring the cupcakes duh! and because she's is so awesome and a great friend!


My blythe Pickle - because every tea party needs a dolly to sip imaginary tea & she'll bring the cookies and chocolate bars!

2. What is one city you'd love to explore?

Seattle! I've heard great things about it :D

3. Describe your perfect day.
I'm cheating. My perfect day would be too long to tell so I'm sharing a TYPICAL day haha!


4. What are some of your guilty pleasures?


the biggest ones are gummi candy & french fries! It's insane really. I also feel really guilty-good when I indulge in: watching reality tv (although I've cut back majorly), pranking people, listening to god awful popular music because it's "catchy", days of our lives, & more...

5. What is your astrological sign & do you fit the description?

oh yeah!

I think I am a typical Virgo. Here are a few descriptions that I think are dead on as far as my general personality:

Yes but I'm terrible at keeping it current because I'm always blogging instead of writing in my journal! I guess this blog can be considered because it containts a lot of my life and what goes on in it.

I really like making journals for other people though!

8. What is your main life goal?

To be truly happy & content...I'm still on the pursuit...

I got these beautiful zinnias and sunflowers for FIVE dollars from the Gardens Oy Vey booth at our local farmers market! Me and the boy had never been before, but in our quest to support local this summer we went and it was so awesome! Picture lots of tented booths with all kinds of fresh veggies, fruits, jams, jellies, teas, flowers, plants, and more! I am definitely going back next Wednesday to stock up on some veggies. I love knowing exactly where my fruits and veggies came from and who grew it. I forgot my camera so next time I go I'll take pics and share with you guys!
