A Month To Remember: September '09

Here's a few on the many things that made my September!

• lunchables - addictive.yummy.fun. i ate these things for like a week straight for lunch.

• Juicy Jim's - a local eatery that has philly cheese steaks with grilled pepperoni OH EM GEE GOOD! best.sandwich.evaaaaaar!
  
• local graffiti - this is on the side of Whatever (a local shop). so inspiring!
  

•  wine (lots of winnneee) - wine keeps me sane I think
• COOPER-YOUNG FESTIVAL! I ♥ Midtown!
•  Hello Kitty @Target! I bought the ones on the far right
  
• strawberry pop tarts w/ frosting - yummy for the tummy, horrible on my expanding waistline

•  FALL arriving! yay it's fall, yay it's fall YAYYYY!
  
• sick for cute - Apple Noggin Pink Bear Clips, KidPirate BOO! Ladies Tee (twinkie chan yo!), KidPirate Umbrella Ghost Tee (and yes that's me wearing it, haha. so funny me and twinkie are looking the same direction), Sugar & Spikes Green YumYum Necklace. I love that Sick For Cute features lots of different artists who make adorable stuff! Maybe one day I'll be on there who knows (wishful thinking never hurts!!)
  

• not caring as much about my "imperfections" - who really cares is my new motto!
  
•  meaningful conversations with the boy
• magic moments (some may call them coincidences)
  
• Drake ft. Trey Songz - Successful...oh em gee. love it! I've been listening to it non-stop.

• Puddin' - She sure knows how to smile for a picture, LOL!

Monthly Wrap Up: August '09

Here's a few things that made August grrrrrreat!

♥ Young Avenue Deli - Curry Turkey Pita w/ Fries. Mmmm!!

♥ Melatonin - I've been taking this on days when I need to have more restful sleep and it works wonders! I take 1.5mg and I'm zonked through the night.
♥ Going to antique malls & thrift stores!
♥ Turning 28 :)

♥ Mad Men -- The vintage clothes, the dialogue, the smoking, the drinking, the sex (they have lots of it lol!), the scenery, the vintage hairstyles...I love it all! It's like watching moving art.

♥ Red Velvet Cupcakes from Muddy's Bake Shop - OMG so good!

♥ Johnny Cash the Pomeranian -- my latest character. The boy named him that because if we ever get a real pom his name will be Johnny Cash LOL. We love that bad ass man.

♥ Jason Mraz - I'll never get tired of hearing I'm Yours!!!
♥ 500 Days of Summer - Great movie, worth paying $$ to go see ;)
♥ 36 LAMC followers, 11 sales and 27 Hearts on Etsy, woo hoo! I love the love! And to all my faithful readers and comment leavers, thank you! much love to you! xoxoxo.

♥ Marigold by Bao Pham (linked under "tasty blogs") -- his art is simply amazing!!
♥ Prompt shipping -- I've ordered quite a bit of stuff of the internet lately and it's all been delivered within 3-4 days without expedited shipping. Gotta love that!

♥ Friendly Postal Workers -- I been sending off orders left and right lately and all the ladies (and one gent) have been so friendly and nice. It makes going so pleasant!

♥ Nice weather -- this has been the mildest summer in a while. I'm loving the breezy, sunny days with little to no humidity!!

A Month To Remember: July '09

Here's a few things that made my July!

• making multicolored cupcakes! it's almost too fun, lol...
  

• Conan O'Brien - I LOVE HIM and I'd marry him if he wasn't already married!
• eggplant and olive hummus - OMG this stuff is so good! I like to use it on my sandwiches instead of mayo. It's wonderful and so much better for you...
  
• Days of our Lives - thanks to a coworker of mine I've been sucked back into Days...it's so trashy but I love watching!

• We rented: Memento, Bubble, Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist
• corn starch - I never really dusted my hands with cornstarch before working with polymer clay until recently. It's GREAT. It helps with the clay sticking to your hands and it also helps with not leaving fingerprints. It's kind of messy but worth it! I don't know why I use it sooner...
  
• Avon Bubble bath - I don't bathe in it, I use it to clean my hands after working with polymer clay. It cuts through the clay grim like no other soap I've used! I like the peach scent :)

A Month To Remember: June '09

I think once a month I am going to try and list some of my current favorite things...I don't know why, it just seems like fun to me heh.

• shea butter blended with essential oils of orange, geranium, and grapefruit
• salt & vinegar chips
• puppies! they're SO cute!

This is Elmo, he's a puppy who needs a home.

• air conditioning (it was HOT today. blech.)

• cliff bars (especially chocolate chip and crunchy peanut butter flavors)
