mmmm, this is hard because I have never ever met a dessert that I don't like. I would have to say that my favorite dessert is these pumpkin cookies I used to buy at a bakery I worked next to as a teenager. They were puffy and pumpkin goodness slathered with cream cheese frosting- one tiny step away from being pumpkin cakes. Makes my mouth water just to think of them. I think that bakery went out of business. Wish I knew how to make those pumpkin cookies :) HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Best wishes for the best year ever!!

First things first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My fav. dessert (although I do love cupcakes) is cheesecake! I love it because it's so rich and creamy and you can get it in all kinds of yummy flavors! Also, it's one of the only desserts my hubby likes (he's not much of a sweets eater) so it's something we can actually enjoy together!

Happy Birthday!!! My favorite dessert is either ice cream or cupcakes. You see, I love ice cream. It is the one thing that can always make me happy! It is really easy to get, just about anywhere, and it comes in tons and tons of flavors, so you can mix it up any time you want! BUT...cupcakes are WAY CUTER!!!! Plus, cupcakes are super fun to make! I love those, too. Thus, I'm torn.

Thank you so much, you are over generous. HAPPY BIRTHDAY and today it's my son's birthday too!
My favourite dessert are candy orange peels covered with dark chocolate. I love the contrast in tastes, sweet, tangy orange and bitter chocolate and in consistency, crispy choc and soft, chewy peels. I could eat 1 kg of them without stopping. That's why I seldom if ever buy them, only when I really want to treat myself.Thank you again Rosanna

Birthday wishes to you! I would have to say my absolute favorite desert is lemon merange pie. It is sweet and tangy and fluffy with just enough substance in the crust so that it is everything good and right in the world! Hope you have tons of fun and tons of dessert on your birthday :)

Hey you...Happy Birthday! (those miniature cakes are awesome!)

My favorite dessert, hands down, is simple white cake with simple white frosting...and a thin layer of lemon inside. It can be a sheet cake, a wedding cake or a cupcake...I don't care...but I'm fussy about where it comes from. It has to be American white cake and it has to come from a bakery or supermarket. I love it to have loads of huge garish colored roses on top too. I treat myself everytime I go back home to America for a visit. There is a bakery in my home town called Pouls Danish American Bakery. It makes the best white cake I have ever had and it has that 'bakery' smell that I miss so much. My family has been buying cakes from them for years and years. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Ooh, those prizes are delectable.

First things first, Happy Birthday!

I cannot, even under threat of humiliating disqualification, be forced to pick just one favorite dessert. So I will list two, the first having three subparts:
1. Cake
a. Red velvet cake
b. White sheet cake with sugary flowers
c. Chocolate eclair cake

2. Double Decker Chocolate Moonpies

Hope 28 is great!

Happy Birthday!!!! So much cuteness here. <3!
My favorite dessert is usually something sweet, cold, soft and creamy and for this reason I absolutely love TRES LECHES CAKE, a milk-soaked cake is so moist it squishes and melts in your mouth like "liquid cake". YUM.

My fav desset would be a huge hunk o' chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream in the centre with chocolate sprinkles, are you noticing a theme, haha.
I'm a total chocoholic you see, albeit one trying hard to recover to save my figure!
There's not much more satisfying than choccie cake

My favorite kind of dessert... ICE CREAM CAKE! Yuuum, regular cake is gross and dry, but ice cream cake is purrrrfect because it combines all the best things including frosting, ice cream, chunks of ...stuff? (haha i don't know what those are but they're delicioussss!) and fudge. I'm drooling thinking about it.

Annnnnywho. It's a fact, I need that glass.

I love anything sweet, but my favorite kind of dessert is vegan chocolate cake. I love chocolate in any form, but when it's cake in addition to frosting, both in chocolate form, to me that's heaven.
Thanks :)

my favorite dessert changes daily, probably according to what i can find, but today it's sticky toffee pudding because...it's sticky...it's toffee...it's pudding..'c'mon! creamy, sweet, chunky, add a little soy ice cream for best effect. and since it's made with dates, you can kind of make believe that it's healthy...you know if you ignore all the sugar and butter.

Happy Happy 28! I may be late, hope it was GRRreat!

I LOVE DESSERT! So much, it makes my heart hurt...Ice cream for breakfast? Cake for dinner? Am I a sinner?!

My ALL TIME FAV, would be a hot warm Brownie, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Toffee Sprinkles with Carmel drizzled on the top! TOTALLY SINFUL!

Its my FAVORITE because of the warm brownie and cold sweet ice cream. They go together like peanut butter an jelly!

hi happy birthday! Vanilla Bon Bons from Trader Joes is my favorite dessert. they're so addictive, i can eat a whole box in one sitting! The yummy icecream, the yummy chocolate crust, and the yummy chocolate wrap. MMM, you have to try it if you haven't!

Happy Birthday :)

My favourite dessert is this crazy cake my mom makes almost every holiday. It's called Punch Bowl Cake, and it's chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, whip cream and skor bits layered twice in a punch bowl. It's super good :)

boredmando said...

(Opps, I think I forgot the why.)

Why? Because it's become a family tradition to have it a family dinners, and everyone asks for it if my mom doesn't bring it. One year one of my little cousins even made it :)

Happy birthday! :D

this is so hard.... ok, so my favorite dessert of all is only available in october at a pumpkin patch near my house that i've gone to for ages. they are homemade apple cider doughnuts, and let me tell you, they are AMAZING. they are doughnuts that taste like cider and they are rolled in cinnamon sugar. and they are so soft and yummy x) there is always a long line for them but its totally worth it. they are fresh and HOT when you get them and they literally melt in your mouth! oh god... now i really want one... come soon, october! reminds me how much a lurve fall ^_^

Jamie Ferraioli said...

To start...happy birthday of course!

And as for my favorite dessert...I'd say it's probably warm peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits, so pairing those with melty ice cream, and the crumblies from the cobbler. MMM. It's just the perfect combination. Cherry cobbler is a close second..

Typhoid Ashley said...

My favorite dessert? Wow, tough one. Lately my favorites have involved fruit. Chocolate dipped strawberries or mixed fruit with this AMAZING cream cheese-cool whip-marshmallow fluff dip. Satisfies the sweet tooth but I can still pretend it's healthy!

Judith Cebreros said...

It's sooo hard to narrow down what my favorite dessert is. I love chocolate ice cream but lately I've been loving the cupcakes. I love them because I recently started making them myself and there's just something about enjoying something that you made.

My favourite dessert has to be the chocolate mousse gateau from my favourite place, Patisserie Valerie in London. The first time I tasted it I was completely blown away and it's my indulgence whenever I'm anywhere near the one in Soho or back down in Kingston visiting my friends. It really is melt in your mouth amazing.

Scones with jam and cream and caupcakes iced with fruit flavoured icing come a close joint second.

Hmm I'd say my favorite is caramel pudding pie with oreos thrown in. I swear its exactly as sugar-coma-inducing as it sounds!

Oooh great! Happy birthday (belated I guess but that's ok, right? :D)

Sooo my favorite dessert are fruit tarts! I love them because they're mostly light and don't make my tummy hurt when I eat them as dessert. Because you've got plenty wonderful variations. Because they're simple to make, always moist and it's a traditional dessert here in France :)

And now you know why I'm making so many mini fruit tarts :)
