4x4x4 Photo Challenge

Mary of Miz Mary's Minis challenged me and I accept!

Rules:
1. open the 4th file where you store your photos
2. pick out the 4th photo & publish it to your blog
3. explain a bit about it
4. pass this challenge to 4 other blogs.

This is Grayson at our old apartment. She was a husky/shepard mix. She got a little incontinent with old age so that's why there is a garabage bag taped to the floor, LOL. We laid her bed and blankets on top of it so that her accidents wouldn't damage the floor.

When I met the boy he was living with his ill grandfather and they had this dog in the kitchen/den area. Once his grandfather passed away, she became the boy's dog. She wasn't allowed to roam the house and I don't really remember why. So she lived in the kitchen and den area and I just felt sorry for her. I firmly believe dogs need to be with their people as they are pack animals and I didn't like that she was shut away from everyone for some of the time. She wasn't neglected by an means, the boy interacted with her as much as he could and fed her and kept her healthy but she needed some loving and I convinced the boy to let her roam and be with us all the time. Even with bad arthritis, she followed me everywhere I went and I loved her more than life itself. I would say she was my heart dog. (Bebe is too but in a different way) We just had a connection that was so incredible. She lived with us until February 2008 when we put her down. She was 14 years old and she told us it was time. She was such a sweet spirit and she LOVED food, haha. Even in her last days she would still beg and give the sweetest expression.

I miss her so much :( We love you Grayson and I know you're up there begging for someone's pepperonis!

I'm kind of breaking the rules, but I challenge whoever wants to do this to do it!

What a sweetheart- and how blessed she was to have you to love and shower her with lots of attention in her older years.
