Inside jokes are so serial/cereal (?)

This picture is hilarious on so many levels...

We went to see "The Dark Knight" on Sunday. Let me start off by saying this to the people who work at movie theatres: IF YOU KNOW THE MOVIE IS SOLD OUT PUT UP A FUCKING SIGN! PEOPLE WAIT IN LINE THINKING IT'S NOT SOLD OUT AND THEN YOU CRUSH THEIR SOULS AND TELL THEM IT'S SOLD OUT. NOT COOL MAN, NOT COOL! SEACREST OUT.

We called Studio on the Square and asked if the 4:15pm showing of the movie was sold out. The chick said No and if you get there 20-25 minutes before show time, you will be ok. So we get there 35 minutes early and this shit is sold out. OK.

So then we debate on heading over to the Paradiso to see if they have a showing that's about to start. The frustrated boy calls the movie hot line and it turns out they do have a 4:45pm showing of the movie. So he calls the theatre but no one answers...so we can't find out if it's sold out. We head on over there with high hopes because it's still early and it might not have sold out. We wait in line. Sold out. No sign...yeah. I was pissed. So we just went home and bought tickets for the 7:00pm showing and the movie was awesome!

The greatest random moments happen in movie theatres. The trailer for Terminator 3 (and lord KNOWS we needed another one) came on and it was aesthetically pleasing to me. Once it was over some guy let out a guttural "YEEEESSSSS!" lol...it was good times.

Anyway, the picture up above spawned from The Joker of course. In the movie the joker tells a story (that I won't spoil for those who haven't seen it) and it basically ends with "why so serious?" and immediately both of us were like "why so serial
(cereal?)?"...it's Al Gore on South Park...if you haven't seen it you won't get it....but trust me it's hilarious. MAN BEAR PIGGGG!

(and yes I've been typing theatres this whole time cause I'm so european baby!)
