Pickle is done & Oops I did it AGAIN!

Isn't she cute! I would like to say she's my favorite but they're all my favorite right now! I'm having so much fun with these girls it's a little ridiculous LOL!



Guys I have got it bad! I bought ANOTHER blythe. She is a Simply Guava RBL and I love her already :D (thus, oops I did it again hehehe)

She doesn't have a name yet but she is so cute. I haven't started customizing her yet because I'm trying to get done with Pinkie if I can ever get done rerooting her hair ARGH! It takes forever but I am going to try and finish it this weekend so I can get her sold. I've had a lot of interest in her and I'm so excited to sell  my first doll :D

Which brings me to another thing, I've finally decided what I want to do as far as customizing and reopening the Etsy shop.I want to be a customizer as an side job too! I definitely have the passion for it and I think I can be really successful at it. It is kind of scary to think that I'll have to work on other people's dolls but I enjoy it so much that I'm going to try! As for the Etsy shop, I want to sell handmade eye chips, pull rings, and other trinkets for blythe as well as other handmade items...I want a mix of cute novelty stuff like magnets, mini cakes, stickers, maybe tees, and other stuff. I am going to start on prototypes soon...so stay tuned because there will be lots of posts about the relaunch of my etsy shop. It's been TOO long and I'm ready to start selling again :D

Well I've got to get back to work, boo! I promise to resume normal posting next week. I got off track with dog sitting and dolly stuff that I've been neglecting the bloggy. Next week, will be better :D

isn't this hat cute!? I got this one and a purple and green one too.The girls needed fall/winter hats in the heat of the (unofficially started) summer of course ;) It's in the 90's here already! It's supposed to be 98 on Sunday *whew*

Cute Stew News!

Hey everyone! Just a few things you need to know:

• The giveaway winner will be announced MONDAY 4/19 (tomorrow) around 5 pm. My allergies are kicking my butt and I haven't felt up to making the VLOG yet, but I DID find my other camera that records so we're cookin' with grease now ;)

• You may have noticed that if you use the old "lessapathymorecake.blogspot.com" url, it redirects you to a NEW url. We're officially "www.cutestew.com" now WHOOP WHOOP! All lamc links will be redirected so no worries about losing links or any of that stuff ;) I hope this name switch has been easy for everyone and no one got lost in the shuffle. I am so happy to have my new domain name and I hope you guys like it!

• Hey MK what's up with your Etsy shop??? Well, dear friends, it's in limbo right now. I need to really sit down and plan it all out but it's not easy when you work FT and have a boyfriend, doggie, rabbit, and blog to tend to ;) I'm making a goal to really think about what I want to do and how so that I can start selling again. I really miss it but life is getting in the way right now. I just wanted to let anyone who was wondering about that know where I am with that. I will reopen, I just don't know when :P I've got so many product ideas that I am overwhelmed and I really need to get focused. I REALLY need some motivation right now *sigh*

That's all for now...I hope you have a lovely Sunday! I spent mine digging holes and planting Japanese holly! We dug out our old sticker bushes (I guess it's some type of holly too but I grew up calling them sticker bushes lol) because they were half dead and whoever lived her before did a real hack job on them. I want full round bushes in the front so cross your fingers that our Japanese holly does it's thing! I also fertilized my azaleas and other shrubs and watered the lawn. I'm hoping our grass will grow in the front...it's got some really bad bare spots :( Anyone have any tips? Do we need to seed again or fertilize? This whole gardening thing is really fun but man it makes me anxious. I don't want to kill anything LOL! I'll have some pics for you soooooon! I'm trying to wait for everything to bloom and fill out :D

Cute Stew News!

Hey yall! We've reached over 150 followers so the big giveaway is coming! Hang in there with me ;) I don't remember if I mentioned that I got really sick last week and I've been behind ever since, bleh. (But on the flipside, I made a new friend: Dayquil Mucous Control. It's sooooo good. I would never drink a ton of cough syrup to get a buzz, but when I took the proper dose of this stuff I feel soooo loverly haha.) I've got a billion pics to edit so that I can share them with you. I also have to blog about the super prezzies I've received from Sarah @ Teapots & Cakestands and Shannon over at Tattoos & Cupcakes (I love both of those blogs names by the way) I'm going to try to get back on track the rest of this week. I aim to announce the giveaway by Friday so check back to enter. I've got a lot of adorable stuff to giveaway :D

In other news, I am going to start customizing a Blythe doll to sell! I got a girl (Casual Affair RBL) off of Plastic Paradise and she's basically stock (she's had one set of eye chips changed). I'm going to going to give her the works. I'll probably post her for sale on my blog :) I'm going to give you guys first dibs and if no one bites I'll post her on Plastic Paradise or eBay. It would be awesome if one of my blog readers got her though!

I think that's about it for now. The weather here has been sooo beautiful and we grilled out last night for the first time. I loved being out in the gazebo flippin' burgers. Our new house kicks so much ass, lol. All of the flowers on the side of our driveway are blooming and it smells heavenly! the aroma of flowers almost knocks you down when you walk out of the house in the morning :)

I hope Spring has been inspiring you! I am going to try and get some shots of our yard and stuff for you guys soon. It's blooming everywhere and we have big plans for the back yard :D

Cute Stew News!

• I'm working more blog redesign this week, so if you see wonkiness it's just me messing around! I've shortened my "sweet blogs" list because my sidebar was getting crazy long with buttons. (thanks for the inspiration Danielle -- it's something I've been wanting to do but didn't want to offend. You made me realize this is my blog & I do what I want lol!) I rehomed some blogs to my "links" page so be sure to check it out! I'm still working on that page too.   

• I am going to be downsizing the blogs I follow as well. I have WAY too many lol. If I don't follow you anymore it's not because you suck or anything ;) It's because I need to simplify things around here. I think I've lost sight of staying true to ME in all the fun of following, being followed, and blog button-ing. So no offense, k?? This is about me &it doesn't mean I won't read your blog anymore either ;)

Sweet Victory!

As I mentioned in the last post, me and 2 others won the bumper sticker contest! The three winning designs are now for sale at Muddy's Bake Shop! I won 5 stickers, a pie, and a dozen cupcakes!

To see my work in an a bakery that I love is amazing!! My sticker is even on the side of their coffee maker right next to the register where everyone will see it :D Thank you Kat for giving me more than yummy goodness...you give me HOPE that like you, I can make it doing what I love to do!

Walk in the Woods pie - it's got thinly sliced apples inside with this beautiful and crunchy granola topping. The topping has cranberries in it too. HEAVEN ON EARTH people!!

cupcakes! strawberry fields forever (strawberry icing on strawberry cake), the classic (chocolate icing w/ sprinkles on vanilla cake), monkey around (banana icing w/ pecans on banana cake), grasshopper (peppermint icing w/ sprinkles on chocolate cake) pucker up (lemon icing w/ sprinkles on lemon cake) frankly scarlett (cream cheese icing on red velvet cake).

The Monkey Around cupcake is my NEW favorite. I didn't think it got any better than the Frankly Scarlett, but I almost dropped dead when I took my first bite of this one haha! It's soooo good!

I knew this old cupcake carrier would come in handy one day ;)

I'm Working On Redesigning My Blog...

So everything will look crazy for a bit...broken links and disappearing stuff. I'll be working all weekend and into next week, so please excuse any wonky stuff you see ;)

 Well as you can see, lamc is now Cute Stew! I decided to redesign the blog to go along with the new name. I'm nowhere near done with everything yet, but I've got the bulk of it done. (HTML is a pain the REAR!) I really love the changes :D It feels so light and fun! The reason I changed the blog name is because I planned on changing my business name too. I felt like I needed a new name that really represented what I'm trying to do with my business and brand. With this new name, I hope to bring you a fresh mix of ideas, images, illustrations, handmade items, & more...all with an underlying theme of cuteness as a common bond.

I am planning on reopening my Etsy shop this spring. I'm still working on products and getting some legal mumbo jumbo out of the way. Until then, I plan on doing a big giveaway VERY soon and maybe another craft swap too. I am going to work hard to get everything up and going but I've been really tired and sluggish lately so I' not making any promises ;)

For now, I need to get back to working on the blog :P
