Blog Re-Design Coming SOON!
Hi!! I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that the blog will be getting a makeover within the new several weeks. I may not start posting regularly again until it's all done but I will pop in every now and then with a random post :) I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who understood my "rant" post and didn't take offense...sometimes you just have to get things out and that's one thing that was really under my skin lately.
Well I hadn't, but I was flipping through the channels and came across a little segment on this amazing bird. According to Wikipedia, "A Lyrebird is either of two species of ground-dwelling Australian birds, most notable for their superb ability to mimic natural and artificial sounds from their environment. Lyrebirds have unique plumes of neutral coloured tailfeathers. Lyrebirds are among Australia's best-known native birds. As well as their extraordinary mimicking ability, lyrebirds are notable because of the striking beauty of the male bird's huge tail when it is fanned out in display; and also because of their courtship display. A group of Lyrebirds is called a musket."

Looking forward to the new look. I love redoing the look of my blog, it refreshes everything for me. And the Lyrebird is a very interesting creature. The chirps it makes are so pretty, even though they copy most of them. LOL!

being an aussie I do know about lyrebirds but never really sat down to watch a clip, gosh, how awesome are they, that camera click blew me away, you really would think it was a sound effect over the top of the video hey? animals are so awesome!

How unaustralian of me, I had no idea Lyrebirds were Australian natives! NOR that they had such an amazing talent, haha!
