I realize that some of you have no idea what a lot of that ^^ means and I plan on doing an explanation post when I have time. I really think knowing what it all means helps appreciate the art form a little bit more :) I'm thinking about doing a Q & A post on Blythe...is that something Cute Stew readers would be interested in? Let me know! Well it's past midnight now so I guess I better go back to sleep so I can get up in 5 hours and go listen to barking dogs again for 8 more long hours o___O

I love Blythe dolla and wish I could afford one~ Wonderful job on the customizations~ It's a tad too eccentric for my personal tastes, but still artistically done. <3
Oh! This custom is very fun! I LOVE the eye shadow!!!
She looks great! My question is just where to get them? I seem to usually only find custom ones.
Wow, you're so freaking talented! She looks great. What a lot of work though!
I love her little "I bite" tee and her pink hair. Way too cute!
oh my gosh!!! She is so cute- I love her!!! I would love to learn more about Blythe dolls- I think they are so fascinating!
Aww, she's wonderful! Love the third photo and that stripey eye shadow :D xxxx
wicked coolio, mel!
Jingle -- I get mind from a forum called Plastic Paradise. There is also another one called This is Blythe. Blythe fanatics by and sell their new and used dolls there. You can also try ebay and sometimes even etsy for custom girls. I'd recommend joining a Blythe forum though and learning as much as you can so you don't get ripped off. They are expensive but it depends you can get a quality used doll for under $100 but some people take advantage as sell them for way more than they are worth. It really depends on if the doll. You kind of have to know your stuff. Limited dolls are worth more...different molds can be worth a lot more. Kenner Blythes which are the orignal dolls from the 70s can go for over $1000 :O it just all depends...
Kim -- I am definitely going to do a post about it. Maybe a series on Blythe would be fun :D
thanks everyone!
i love her eyes. you do such a great job with these!
