Hey yall...I'm still under the weather so that's why there's been a lack of posting and the halloween blog theme is still here. I'm hoping to feel much better this weekend so I can catch up on things. I have a wedding to attend though so I don't know how much I'll actually get done o_o SIGH.
Being sick sucks but one good thing is that the super sweet freckled cutie (and I mention her freckles because I LOVE freckles, lol) Lisa Kate of Sparkle is My Crack did another amazing make-up look inspired by my miniature strawberry cake, YAY! She is so talented and I love that she can be inspired by my minis. It means so much to me and inspires me to keep at it :) Somedays I tend to want to give up on my crafting/business totally...I just get frustrated and put too much pressure on myself and usually when I'm just about to say "F IT ALL" special little birdies like Lisa Kate make me realize that I've been blessed with a gift and if I can inspire others then THAT'S really the point of it all. So head on over to her blog and see what she came up with this time!
Hmm what else...oh I ordered two wiggies haha. Wiggggggggy! (I just like saying wiggy sorry ;)) I am SICK of my hair right now!!! Having super curly THICK hair can be hard to deal with when you have so much to do. I usually end up wearing a hat and ponytail every day and I've been neglecting my hair way too much. It's dry as a bone right now and I'm in need of a deep conditioning and trim badly. What's even worse is I have all these expensive ass hair styling products from Aveda just collecting dust. I decided that I am going to try wearing wigs so that I can have a quick and easy style when I'm going out.
I don't want to get it permanently straightened so I figure wigs are the best (and fun) option for me right now. They should be here soonish and I will torture you with wigs pics hee hee. I hope they're cute! Is it wrong that I want to put one on Bebe's head and take pictures??
I've also started my healthier eating regimen today. I hope to add exercise in the mix soon too. I like WATP and I've got a few dvds. In a perfect world, I would get up @ 5:30 am and exercise to start my day off right, but I'm not there yet. I drag myself out of bed 15 minutes before I have to be at work SIGH. But things need to change. I'm ashamed to say I've eaten myself up to about 50+ lbs over my ideal weight. I just like to eat A LOT. Food is my friend and I abuse it badly..eating way past full too much. It's those damn french fries lol...but I just can't take it anymore!! I hate not being able to wear cute stuff without my gut or rolls sticking and looking "stuffed" in fitted shirts. I hate feeling winded doing simple things. I hate thinking about what this excess weight is doing to my organs. :( I don't want to be super skinny, just healthy and in shape. So, I'll be using my blog to help keep myself accountable! If anyone out there is on a journey to weight loss, chime in we can support each other ;)

ugh. I started this, got too busy and promptly abandoned it. Maybe your post is my stick in the side to try again! I used to eat like this all the time too, but when I get busy I abandon it in favor of whatever is easier(read fast food and meals in boxes here). Good luck- I used to fit in cute clothes too and I miss it too- I cannot wait to see your wigs!! I hope you feel better really soon!!! Take care!!♥♥
I strongly believe that french fries are of the devil. It's the only explanation for the power they have over me! HA! I hope you get to feeling better. Did you get your Lolligag tee? Isn't it SOOOO cute! Loving mine!
kim -- just jump back on the wagon ;) if it makes you feel better i had been eating fast food everyday for lunch and dinner for months. it's soooo bad!
jingle -- french fries are my biggest temptation. i love them!!!! i did get my shirt...too bad it doesn't fit :P i got a large but it's SUPER tight so I might make it into a purse or something. (or maybe I'll lose weight haha) I'm so bummed though because it's sooo cute :(
thanks for the well wishes...i'm feeling a little better today but still congested boo!

I'm on that journey too! But I was blaming "post-baby weight" for too long, it's been 6 years now! HAHA!
I was 30 pounds over my ideal weight about six months ago. I've thankfully lost 10 pounds since then. Mostly by cutting down on eating out. I had a bad habit of eating out a lot & feeling like I needed to eat everything on my plate. lol Now we cook most of our food at home and I only eat as much as I'm hungry for. That has helped a lot. Now, if I cut down on the sweets & start exercising I'll probably be able to lose the other 20. But I do get stressed at the idea b/c I HATE exercising. I don't know why but I'm not a fan. So, I'm going to start by trying to cut sodas out of my diet and maybe try to eat more chicken and fish and less beef. And lots more veggies!
Anyway, good luck to you on your journey! I wish you all the best! And big LOLs to Bebe wearing the wig! :)
i'm also working on weight loss...which is super hard with all the baking!!! A great website that I used last year and lost 10 pounds with (before i gained them back f/m all the baking) is Spark people.com. and it's free! and you can have a weight loss blog! and you get points for doing stuff!--oh, and they have a great way to log and track your calories consumed and burned.
I exercised super hard yesterday and am watching to food, and have lost 1 pound so far this week. good luck! we can do this!!
also, i LOVE the teacup necklace!
feel better and get plenty of rest!
