THANK YOU HAYSEUSS CHRISTO! and other ramblings.

Yesterday I realized that I lost my debit card. (can we say BUMMER??) The boy and I looked everywhere for it to no avail. So, I was planning on combing the house one more time and then I was going to call the bank and have them cancel that card and send me a new one. (Which sucks because I *just* got that card. My bank's records had been compromised so they sent everyone new cards to curb theft) On a whim I called Office Max, which was the last place I used my card, and the convo went a little something like this:

Office Max Lady: Thank you for calling Office Max, can I help you? *loud staticy noises in the background*
ME: umm, hi. I was in there Monday and I think I left my debit card...
Office Max Lady: Ok, what's your name?
ME: Melanye K_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Office Max Lady: Yes we have it in the safe...
ME: Ok, I'm on my way!(while doing a ridiculously nerdy happy dance)

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy...I just figured she'd say they haven't seen it and I'd be forced to wait 2-3 weeks for a new card which would've sucked ass! (You really don't realize how dependent you are on that silly debit card until you lose it.) Oh sweet debit card, I'll never forsake thee again! As soon as the boy gets here we are going to go pick it up. We are also going to pick up some charcoal so we can have grilled chicken tonight. YUMMERS!

In other news, I've come to realize my dog is a total love slut sometimes. Today I got to work with a new person in the afternoon...a male who looks suspiciously like Buddy Holly but a bit more scruffy. Bebe ran to him and jumped in his lap and was looking at him with eyes of lust. It's like she wanted to make out with him...passionately even. He was giving her googly eyes right back! He was enamored with her Boston Terrier cuteness and it showed! She loves everybody, but that girl loves her some men...and they love her :)

But working with "the new guy" was fun. He's easy to talk to and his laugh cracks me up. The boy thinks I am going to fall madly in love with him just because I said he was cute and I like his Buddy Holly glasses. LOL, silly rabbit. Why would I want anyone but you?? (all together now, AWWWWWWWWWWWWW!)
